Housing Continuum

Housing exists in a housing continuum where at the far side, there are individuals and families who are in crisis and who are in emergency shelters or living rough. In the middle are independent renters who pay their rent with assistance, and then on the other side are independent renters and homeowners.

Check out Northumberland’s Affordable Housing Strategy to learn more about what the housing continuum looks like in our community.
